Amuse Bouche

A feast dance made for seven performers.  Commissioned by CounterPULSE (SF) for their annual Slow Foods Benefit, Amuse Bouche celebrates community and conviviality with playful and joyful movement and live food tasting.  While two performers sit a top high thrones and feed each other across a distance with five foot spoons, the others present the amuse bouche course of the dinner, dance with it, feed it to the audience, and give permission for the audience to feed each other.  This work has also been performed at a wedding!  Sadly, there is no video documentation for this work.  Originally performed by: El Beh, Jennifer Hoff, Micha Lazarus, Erin Maxon, Matthew Sergi, Lauri Smith, and Ara.
