Ara is a performer and director-choreographer who makes orginal works of performance under the name North America. She teaches Grotowski-based physical acting and collaborative creation based in The Six Viewpoints at Centennial College in Toronto. She holds a BFA (NYU-Tisch) and MFA (UC Davis).
