Flooded

We embark on an hour-long performance/sail around the Toronto Islands. It’s performance. It’s an intimate summer boat cruise. With audience on both sides, the performers balance their need to be connected to others, the awe of being a small speck on a giant horizon, and the deep desires they (sometimes literally) overflow with. In a work exploring emotional outpourings and the challenges of staying open to the world, the performers grow into humping dinosaurs, fight the patriarchy with luscious locks, climb bodies in search of the right embrace, and stare at the sea.
