Hyperthesis: Or Overthinkers in Love

An experiment in precision and passion, Hyperthesis isolates the moments at which academic theory touches bodily reality (and vice versa) and demonstrates how obsessive reasoning can rend and wrench the body, from conversational tics to grandiose choreographic expansions. As they move through a synchronized physical score, two performers present simultaneous academic conference papers that hunt for meaning in love, relationship, and communication.
